Principlev1
Conduct regular structural reviews of your knowledge graph
Conduct regular structural reviews of your knowledge graph to detect and repair decay (dead links, missing connections, orphan nodes) before trust degradation makes the system unusable.
Why This Is a Principle
This principle derives from Exponential Information Decay (information decays exponentially), Open-Loop Cognitive Cost (Zeigarnik) (unresolved commitments consume working memory), and Knowledge that exists only in tacit form degrades without (tacit knowledge degrades without detection). It prescribes a maintenance protocol following from decay axioms. The principle is: given that external knowledge structures decay (Exponential Information Decay, Knowledge that exists only in tacit form degrades without), and that unreliable systems create cognitive load (Open-Loop Cognitive Cost (Zeigarnik)), therefore implement periodic maintenance to prevent trust collapse.
