Conduct structured newcomer debriefs at 30/60/90 days to capture schema observations before habituation renders them invisible, because newcomers occupy a unique vantage point where organizational assumptions are still visible as choices rather than facts.
Why This Is a Principle
Derived from Environmental Installation of Early Schemas (early schemas installed by environmental input), Different functions develop different schemas as adaptive (different functions develop different adaptive schemas), and Organizations become increasingly homogeneous through (organizations homogenize through ASA cycles). This prescribes timing and method for schema detection based on the socialization process—newcomers can see schemas that tenured members cannot because they haven't yet internalized them. It's actionable and applies broadly to any organization.
