Deliberately expose yourself to reference groups where the target behavior is normative to accelerate identity-behavior alignment.
Why This Is a Principle
This is a derived principle, not an axiom. It follows from Looping Effects of Human Classification (classifying people creates feedback loops), Behaviors spread through social networks following network (behaviors spread through social networks), and Satisfying the psychological needs of autonomy, competence, (satisfying autonomy, competence, relatedness drives intrinsic motivation). The principle prescribes a specific action: seek proximity to groups where desired behaviors are normal. This is more general than a rule (not 'join this specific group') and more actionable than the underlying axioms.
