Principlev1
Maintain practice of capabilities you delegate to tools to
Maintain practice of capabilities you delegate to tools to prevent atrophy of the biological original, especially for capabilities whose loss would compromise judgment or effectiveness.
Why This Is a Principle
Derives from Neural Plasticity Enables Lifelong Automatic Learning (brain reorganizes pathways based on input—'use it or lose it'), Expertise Through Deliberate Practice (expertise develops through deliberate practice building representations), and Expertise as Domain-Specific Schema Organization (expertise is domain-specific schemas, doesn't transfer). The principle prescribes maintaining practice because plasticity works bidirectionally: delegation can cause expertise regression.
