Principlev1
Record each isolated change and its measured effect to build
Record each isolated change and its measured effect to build a searchable optimization history that enables bisection debugging when performance degrades.
Why This Is a Principle
Derives from Exponential Information Decay (memory decay), Open-Loop Cognitive Cost (Zeigarnik) (unexternalized plans consume working memory), and Knowledge that exists only in tacit form degrades without (tacit knowledge degrades). The principle prescribes externalization as protection against these limitations.
