Principlev1
When overcommitment recurs, diagnose the pattern driver
When overcommitment recurs, diagnose the pattern driver (future-time illusion, people-pleasing, FOMO, busyness-identity, or planning fallacy) rather than treating each instance as isolated.
Why This Is a Principle
Derives from Automatic Pattern Perception (the brain automatically generates patterns) and Patterns Exist in Hierarchical Logical Levels (patterns exist in hierarchical levels with deeper structures generating surface events). This prescribes treating recurring overcommitment as a pattern with identifiable drivers rather than as random failures. It's meta-level diagnostic guidance.
