Why This Is a Principle
Derives from Emotions manifest as physiological changes in the body (somatic markers as pre-conscious information processing) and Emotions function as evaluative signals that provide (emotions carry evaluative information). The Iowa Gambling Task showed body response preceded conscious understanding by ~70 cards. When channels disagree, it means one is detecting something the other isn't—treat it as diagnostic, not noise.
