Principlev1
Execute emotion-driven actions within the energy window
Execute emotion-driven actions within the energy window (minutes to hours after onset) while the emotional activation is still running, as emotional energy has a predictable half-life.
Why This Is a Principle
This principle derives from exponential decay of information (Exponential Information Decay), temporal gaps weakening associations (The strength of association between a stimulus and response), and dopamine encoding prediction error (Dopamine neurons encode prediction error rather than). It prescribes timing of action relative to emotional state, applicable to all emotion-driven behavior.
