Principlev1
Frame strategy as a single causal model ('We win by doing X
Frame strategy as a single causal model ('We win by doing X because Y') rather than as a list of objectives, because a causal model enables distributed coherent decision-making while a list only enables plan-following when the plan applies.
Why This Is a Principle
Derived from Schemas as Knowledge Organization Structures (schemas organize knowledge and guide processing), Shared mental models among group members determine what the (shared mental models determine what groups perceive and consider), and Organizational culture exists at three disconnected levels: (culture exists at multiple levels). This prescribes structuring strategy as a schema (causal model) rather than a plan because schemas enable reasoning in novel situations while lists only cover anticipated situations. It's a design principle for strategy communication.
