Principlev1
Reduce restraining forces rather than increasing driving
Reduce restraining forces rather than increasing driving forces when initiating behavioral change, as removing obstacles creates movement with less resistance than pushing harder against barriers.
Why This Is a Principle
Derives from Directed Attention as Depletable Resource (finite cognitive resources) and Behavior follows the path of least resistance due to the (least resistance). The principle follows from force field analysis: given that cognitive resources are limited and systems seek efficiency, eliminating barriers is structurally superior to amplifying willpower. This is prescriptive strategy derived from constraints.
