For each scene, describe what happened, who was there, what you felt, and what the scene means to you now. Step two: Read all six scenes and identify the pattern. What does the protagonist do across these scenes — act, endure, manage, escape, connect, withdraw, achieve, sacrifice? Name the verb. Step three: Write the dominant narrative in one sentence.
