Principlev1
Frame unavoidable suffering as a question from life
Frame unavoidable suffering as a question from life requiring response rather than an injustice demanding explanation, because the question-frame activates agency while the why-frame produces rumination.
Why This Is a Principle
Derives from Suffering that is interpreted as meaningful has different (meaningful suffering differs from meaningless), Autonomy is the felt sense of being the author of your own (autonomy is authorship), and Single-loop learning adjusts actions within existing (double-loop learning questions frameworks). This is Frankl's first therapeutic question operationalized as a cognitive reframing principle—it tells you how to reposition yourself relative to suffering to shift from passive to active stance.
